Improving integrity skills of research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transportation

The support group of the Construction and Civil Engineering program of the Master’s degree program takes active steps to improve both its professional qualifications and soft skills. In particular, academic staff expand their knowledge and skills in academic integrity in order to provide this relevant knowledge to the student community.

Thus, in September – October 2024, representatives of the support group Sribniak N.M., Tsyhanenko L.A., Tsyhanenko H.M., Lutskovskyi V.M. took the course “Academic Integrity at the University”.

The speakers of the course are Serhiy Kvit, Director of the Center for Quality Assurance of Education at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Doctor of Philology, PhD, Professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and Svitlana Chukanova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Coordinator of the Victor Kitastyi American Library at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Academic integrity forms the basis of quality education. Ukrainian higher education is evolving, and an important factor in its successful development is the implementation of the principles of academic integrity in learning, teaching, and research.

The course allows applicants to apply the principles of academic integrity in their activities.
